Poshlost is the Russian equivalent to “kitsch”, meaning vulgar, obscene or in bad taste. I separated the words “posh” and “lost” resulting in a cross-section of glamour from a social climber’s point of view. The collection is designed to portray a digital lifestyle where a person is rarely seen in full. Instead we see strictly framed pictures celebrating hyper-materialistic values. Sometimes less is more, just not this time!”
