Adaptive Underwear

Eeva Sundell focuses on bodies that are often discriminated against when it comes to seductive and attractive fashion. Her starting point was to think how clothes affect the way we feel about ourselves, and how feeling good in our clothes is not something individuals with disabilities can always take for granted.

Together with three disability activists, Sundell designed a lingerie concept that takes into consideration disabilities and restrictions in movement. Her concept evolved into a catalogue that provides different colors and solutions for functional details for the customer to choose from. The comfortable, attractive, and vibrant lingerie collection of two bras and four different underpants is based on a modular design and mass-customisation as a sustainable and profitable business idea.
